Our go kart is a 2025 FA Mini with 60cc Mini Rok engine, and Maxxis tyres. On most tracks it has a top speed of over 90kph.

It has a Mychron data logger so we can look at lines on a laptop, though for some reason we can’t look at the lines when we race. When it’s wet we change tyres, and hope for the best…

In my class, Cadet 12, the engine and tyres are the same for everyone, and the minimum weight is 110kg (go kart + driver).

My go kart is looked after by Jace, Adam and Grant at Prokarting, who are super helpful. My dad does some work on it as well, though he doesn’t really have much idea what he’s doing (but he’s trying).
